Dean Davison

Communications and Culture Leader

Dean strengthens brands, builds cultures and protects reputations. He helps tell compelling stories that drive change and growth. With decades advising C-suite executives and building brand and communications teams, Dean has guided organizations through dramatic growth as well as potentially debilitating crises.

Dean Davison provides clients with a wealth of expertise in brand strategy, storytelling, social and digital marketing, change leadership, executive communications, crisis communications, media training and message development.

He helps businesses and people grow, change and deliver bottom-line results. Executives and colleagues value his clear strategic thinking, energizing leadership, and calm focus during change and crisis. In two distinctly different settings—at GE and privately held Lockton--he built world-class communications teams from scratch.

At Lockton, he created and led the brand and communications team that helped transform a $400 million U.S. insurance broker in 2006 into a $1.5 billion global firm in 2018. At GE, he created and developed the brand and communications team that guided Employers Reinsurance through the devastation of 9/11, drove a multi-billion dollar financial turnaround and rebranded the company as GE Insurance Solutions.

Building a vibrant culture is at the heart of his approach to executive and internal communications. His culture work helped Lockton earn the Best Places to Work in Insurance award 10 years in a row, Forbes Best Employers for three years, and two J.D. Power Awards for client satisfaction.
